Last updated: July 2026

This Cookies Policy aims to inform you clearly and transparently about the use of cookies on the website diseñadorenmalaga.es, owned by Francisco Fernández, in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the European ePrivacy Directive, and relevant international data protection laws.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file downloaded to your browser (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.) when you access certain websites. Cookies allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their device, and depending on the information they contain and how you use your device, they can be used to recognize the user.

2. Legal basis for processing

The use of technical cookies (necessary for the website’s operation) is based on our legitimate interest in offering a secure and functional website (in compliance with Art. 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE).

For all other cookies (analytics, advanced personalization, or marketing), the legal basis is your explicit consent, freely granted by selecting «Accept all» or by enabling the corresponding options in our cookie settings panel, in accordance with Art. 6.1.a) of the GDPR.

3. Types of cookies used on this website

This website only uses essential and analytical cookies necessary to ensure an optimal experience and optimize general performance. The cookies are divided into:

A. Technical and Preference Cookies (Mandatory / Exempt from consent)

These are essential to allow you to navigate the website and use its basic features. They do not collect commercial or tracking information.

  • Language and Localization: They save your language preference (es or en) to prevent you from having to select it again on subsequent visits.
  • Theme Preference (Light/Dark Mode): They store your preferred visual theme locally to maintain visual consistency and appropriate contrast according to website accessibility.
  • Cookie Consent Control: They store your response from the cookie banner (cookieConsent and cookieConsent_analytics) to remember your decision for 1 year and avoid showing the banner repeatedly.

B. Analytical and Performance Cookies (Optional / Require consent)

These cookies, processed either by us or by third parties (for example, through performance metrics like Google Analytics or WordPress API logs), allow us to count visitors anonymously and statistically analyze how users interact with the portfolio to improve speed, content, and general technical usability.
